We are happy to announce that our church will resume live worship service June 13, 2020. It will open in a manner that accounts for public health guidance related to illness prevention and social distancing. Nothing is more important than our congregation feeling confident, safe, and protected during our worship time.

Please note that we encourage those in the high-risk categories (see below) to continue worshipping with us from home as we will continue to provide broadcast of our Adult Sabbath School and Worship Service on Facebook Live.

We ask that you carefully read the guidelines below:

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

Temperature screening will be conducted prior to entering the building.

  • Masks will be required to be worn upon entering, during service, and upon leaving. If you have your own mask please bring it with you. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided.
  • Tables will be set in the lobby area with hand sanitizer bottles. We encourage everyone to use it.
  • We ask that you stand 6 feet from groups that are not part of your household.
  • Greeters and Deacons will be on hand to usher you into the sanctuary. Please wait to be seated.
  • Families will be asked to sit together and there will be at least 6 feet of separation between family units.
  • Family Story Hour Sabbath school classes will continue via Zoom at 10:30 am every Saturday.
  • Restroom use is limited to 2 persons at a time.

Due to limited attendance restrictions set forth by Nicholson Center Advent Health, government officials and the CDC, we are asking that you RSVP for you and your family members. This will allow us to ensure proper occupancy numbers and set up for individual and family needs attending the service. We understand your plans may change and we will adjust accordingly.

THE CDC RECOMMENDS YOU STAY HOME IF…

You are over 65 and have severe underlying medical conditions, you are encouraged not to attend gatherings such as these.

You should not attend if you answer yes to any of these questions:

  • Am I showing any flu-like symptoms?
  • Have I not been feeling well?
  • Have I been exposed to someone with symptoms or who has tested positive for COVID-19?
  • Have I crossed state borders or traveled internationally in the last two weeks?
  • Have I had a fever and other symptoms such as shortness of breath, cough, or fatigue in the past 14 days?
  • Is there any medical reason why I believe I should not be around others?

Let’s help keep each other healthy!

We are excited about returning to worshiping together in person and hope that unless you are in one of the highest risk categories, we will soon see you live worshiping with us!
