Joseph and Vonnie Wamack moved to the town of Celebration in September of 2006 from Atlanta, Georgia. Pastor Wamack has been pastoring since 1990 in Tennessee, Ohio, and Georgia. He has a B.A in Theology, a Masters in Divinity, as well as four units of Clinical Pastoral Education. He also has seven years of psychiatric nursing experience. He serves in a dual role as pastor of the Celebration Seventh-day Adventist Church and chaplain for Florida Hospital Celebration Health.

Joseph and Vonnie have been married since 1983. Vonnie works for a dermatologist in Baldwin Park doing laser treatments and skin care consulting. They have two sons, Aaron, born in 1985 and Adam, born in 1987. Pastor Wamack says, “I do not see the pastor/chaplain position as two roles, but two aspects of one ministry. My mission is to give care, offer kindness, and share God’s love with everyone I come in contact with. My desire is to serve those in the church, the hospital and the community through God’s grace bringing health, vitality, and growth to everyone I meet!”
